RULES: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

1. All canned goods are to be put in sealed, STERILIZED, PINT jars. Rings must be LOOSENED and jars wiped clean at time of entry. Attach exhibitor’s tab with an elastic.
2. Jams and jellies to be in small STERILIZED jars. If wax is used to seal jar, DO NOT REMOVE WAX.
3. Exhibits must be in Agricultural Building by 8:30 p.m. Thursday, August 8th and removed between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday,
August 11th, 2019.
Prizes: 1st $5.00; 2nd $4.00; 3rd $3.00

1. All entries to be submitted in clear plastic bags, EXCEPT pies & cakes.
2. No half loaves; small loaves preferred, in clear plastic bags.
3. No mixes, and NO ready-made pie or tart shells.
4. Pies – tin foil plates preferred.
5. Cookies, tarts or squares – 3 on a SMALL, disposable plate.
6. Exhibits must be in Agricultural Building by 8:30 p.m. Thursday, August 8th and removed between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 11th, 2019.

10. Oatmeal cookies – must use the recipe provided below:

Preheat oven to 350 F. Cream 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup brown sugar. Add 1 egg  and 2 teaspoons vanilla, mix, then add 1-1/2 cup oats, 1 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon baking powder. Mix until just combined. Drop rounded mounds on ungreased cookie sheet, then flatten with a fork or glass. Bake approximately 9 to 12 minutes.
