The Comber Fair

2021 Reverse Parade

It is unfortunate that an in-person Fair is not able to be held this year, but the Comber Agricultural Society have put on our thinking hats and are working to keep Comber Fair alive once again during these unprecedented times. It’s been a tough go since March 2020 but we made it through and can clearly see the light at the end of the tunnel!

What are we planning?

Well, we are planning a Reverse Parade for August 7th, 2021 and we are looking for participants to enter “floats”. As many know, a Reverse Parade means that the Parade floats/participants remain stationary while the spectators drive by viewing your creations. So, we need you to get thinking, get creative, and join our Reverse Parade.

There will be prizes for best family float as well as best corporate float and possibly a few other prizes. There will not be a fee to enter a float, you will be assigned a designated spot and will be asked to stay in that spot for the duration of the Parade.

If you and/or your business are interested in entering a float, please contact one of the committee members listed below with your name/name of business and how much space you will be needing.

Deadline to enter a float will be no later than Tuesday, August 3rd and once you send us the above information, you will be informed of further details needed for the day of the Reverse Parade. We hope to see lots of creativity and support for our wonderful community!
