RULES: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

  • All canned goods are to be put in sealed, STERILIZED, PINT jars. Rings must be LOOSENED and jars wiped clean at time of entry. Attach exhibitor’s tab with an elastic.
  • Jams and jellies to be in small STERILIZED jars. If wax is used to seal jar, DO NOT REMOVE WAX.
  • Exhibits must be in Agricultural Building by 8:30 p.m. Thursday, August 4th and removed between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 7th, 2022.

  • No half loaves; small loaves preferred, in clear plastic bags.
  • No mixes, and NO ready-made pie or tart shells.
  • Pies – tin foil plates preferred.
  • Cookies, tarts or squares – 3 on a SMALL, disposable plate.
  • Exhibits must be in Agricultural Building by 8:30 p.m. Thursday, August 4th and removed between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 7th, 2022.

10. Oatmeal cookies – must use the recipe provided below:

Preheat oven to 350 F. Cream 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup brown sugar. Add 1 egg and 2 teaspoons vanilla, mix, then add 1-1/2 cup oats, 1 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon baking powder. Mix until just combined. Drop rounded mounds on ungreased cookie sheet, then flatten with a fork or glass. Bake approximately 9 to 12 minutes.
