Please pre-register on Assist Expo by August 1st to eliminate long line ups at the Community Hall on Thursday, August 6th, 2026.
Prize money can be picked after 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 10th at the Fair Office.

AGES: 18 MONTHS – 3 YEARS

1. Make a Handprint Bouquet
2. Pom-pom art*
3. Make a collage using only felt shapes
4. Make a picture by only using bingo dabbers
5. Make a piece of art using paper plate “suns”

6. Make a house out of popsicle sticks*

11. Make a pinwheel out of Recycled Materials

AGES: 8 – 9 YEARS

16. Make a dinosaur from paly dough or clay*
17. Draw an animal or creature and give it a name – any medium
18. Make a pencil topper – any medium
19. Make a “Beware of ______” sign, no large than 30cm
20. Make a piñata. Attach a string to hang

AGES: 10 – 12 YEARS

21. Make four (4) coasters using any medium*
22. Make a 3D creation using wood, washer, bolts, paint, wire, etc. (not food related)
23. Make a key chain for your backpack, any medium

25. A time capsule in a show box representing your life. Maximum 10 items

DESIGN OUR COLOURING CONTEST

Prizes: 1st$15.00; 2nd $10.00; 3rd$7.00; 4th$6.00; 5th $4.00

6. Youth up to and including age 12. Design the Children’s Colouring Contest for next year’s fair book. A line drawing on white paper 8 1/2″ x 11″ design so that it may be coloured in (i.e.as it would appear in a child’s colouring book). Must be done with black ink or black marker. Leave 1/2″ border. Erase any pencil marks.

Note: Winner must leave drawing with the Comber Fair for publication in the next year’s colouring contest.

FAIR DISPLAY

Create an “Original hand made design” poster that is promoting the Comber Fair. The name of the fair and next year’s date – August 6th, 7th, & 8th, 2027 – must be clearly shown on the poster. The poster must be hand drawn and in PORTRAIT ORIENTATION. Poster size: minimum 22cm x 28cm without border and a maximum 28cm x 44cm without border.

Each entry must be centered on CARDSTOCK or BRISTOL BOARD exposing a 5.5cm border on all four sides.

Prizes: 1st $15.00; 2nd $10.00; 3rd $7.00; 4th $6.00; 5th $4.00

7. Youth up to and including grade 4
8. Youth grade 5-8 inclusive
9. Youth grade 9-12 inclusive (adult membership required)

Note: Winner’s must leave poster with the Comber Fair for selection and publication as next year’s Cover Page.
